Twitter truly wants to become our X social media network. Maybe we should just stop calling it.

We should call it worthless, and move to a platform not owned and operated by a narcissistic egomaniac with too much money on his hands.

Call it precisely like Elon wants. Let him suffer the consequences.

Not really important, Elon Musk bought it and he can do whatever he pleases with X, formerly Twitter.

And secondly, why all the bashing and snickering ? Elon Musk has a proven record of excellence running his companies. I would not be surprised if in a few months time he will smell of roses again. Or maybe he fails, but then he at least tried.

Also get a fricking life, there are more important things like Twitter/X/Elon Musk posts.

I call it Twatter.

Twitter, I would assume. 'X' is extremely awkward, and without proper context/people knowing that Twitter has renamed itself something silly, just looks like someone forgot to fill in a blank.

I'd recommend treating it the same was as everyone treated the Royal Mail briefly renaming itself Consignia (a real thing which happened in the early noughties) - that is, ignoring it and waiting for it to switch back to something sensible.
