Ask HN: Claude vs. GPT: What's been your experience so far?

GPT has been a lot faster but Claude has given a lot more creative/useful results, in general.

Interesting! What use-cases have you been throwing at them?

Ideas for [xyz], then refine the queries or dig into some specific responses and ask for more details on that idea. In general, I'd go with Claude for pure brainstorming, but GPT for productivity improvement tasks (summarize, generate, etc). I was using GPT 3.5 and Claude (didn't try the instant model)

We use both a lot. Their both great, they have different strengths and weaknesses. Right now, my default go to in GPT 4, but Claude for stuff where I need an answer to more reliably not be a hallucination
