[–] mdwalters 2y ago ↗ Which one, in question? [–] nabi_nafio 2y ago ↗ What I meant was Twitter has a bookmarking feature but it has no way to manage them. For example, no way to search, tag, and categorize bookmarks.

[–] nivertech 2y ago ↗ I want an Obsidian plugin to ingest all my bookmarks:- website - web/Chrome- a blog post- a tweet (X.com post)- books / book wishlist or recommendations (Amazon, etc.)- a scientific paper (+ PDF)- an analyst report (+ PDF)- YouTube videos- Podcasts- GitHub repos- etc.Bookmarking should be as frictionless as taking a screenshot - clicking a hotkey. It should automagically detect the type of the bookmarked item.It should try to categorize and tag the bookmarked item automatically using AI/LLM/NLP algos. There are should be a DataView-compatible standardized metadata schema / tagging / new Obsidian properies which replaced YAML frontmatter metadata. [–] nabi_nafio 2y ago ↗ Hi, thanks for the detailed response. These are some very interesting insights. I would love to know more:Q) How do you currently manage your bookmarks?Q) Why do you want these features? [–] nivertech 2y ago ↗ Chome's builtin Bookmarks manager (with lots of nested folders)+ Notes in Obsidian for more important bookmarks+ Saving webpages as HTML and PDF into an hierarchy of folders in Dropbox [–] nabi_nafio 2y ago ↗ Thanks [–] [deleted] 2y ago ↗ (comment deleted)
