Ask HN: What is something you wish you had that would make GraphQL better?

Say you are building a website or running a company from scratch and want to use Graphql. What would be your hurdles? What are the pain points?

Is it writing authentication? Or setting up a graphql engine? or the front-end?

What do you wish you had in the GraphQL space that is not there yet. For example a user told me that there are no good solutions for integrating with brokers like Kafka. Let me know in the comments below what you guys think?
