A ukrainian friend of mine, that I met through YC startupschool before the war, mentioned that donating to charity for more drones for ukraine was most effective, rather than food and such which they have domestically already. It's a strange turn of events, years before this situation I tried to find VC funding for farming drones in ukraine. Now they are innovating for weapons, effective, necessary, but if I donated directly to such a thing I would feel like a killer.
