[–] wewxjfq 2y ago ↗ On Windows, it had to compete with C++, Delphi, and a brand-new C#. That's a tough competition, considering that all these languages offered IDEs with fancy GUI builders. On Linux, it didn't feel at home because the D compiler wasn't free software.
[–] howinteresting 2y ago ↗ For something as committal as a new language to break in, it has to be a quantum leap from existing languages.
