Looks like you need to log in to access X again

I thought I read they were going to let people look at tweets without logging in. They've apparently changed their mind again. Though you can access https://twitter.com/x without an account. But annoyingly, you have to have an account to access https://twitter.com/search.

I'm running Firefox on Ubuntu. Try it out if you're curious. Maybe it's dependent on Browser / OS.
