Ask HN: Replacing social events with video games for virtual conferences? Which?

Hi everyone. Cobbling together an international event with millennials, few gen z folks. Nothing can quite replace face-to-face interactions, but I am determined to try. So I am looking for games that have that party atmosphere but translate well to online interactions (obviously) with a dozen people or less. Or could be broken up into smaller groups. Everybody is relatively tech-savvy, but not everyone is a gamer or has a super powerful machine, so casual games that are accessible to beginners are needed.
