Something darker similiar to the wealth gap right now, but instead of the 0.1% of humans with it, it's just AIs that can live forever and hoard wealth as long as they want. Learning loopholes, technicalities, and faster processing to take advantage of every market condition.
Seeing as The Matrix is a metaphor for the sanctioned reality we share and drains us of energy for it's own maintenance, and governments actively de-humanize high aggression individuals and deploy them to brutalize designated 'enemy' populations to incite fear in the citizenry, I'd say we're already there.
