Probably a joke, but publicly admitting to market manipulation seems like a pretty bad idea either way.

Definitely fake, I saw a lot of similar claims on other platforms like tiktok/instagram for the sole purpose of getting some publicity, where this later can be used to sell stuff like courses or affiliate links.
