If they're wrong, they've lost whatever credibility remains. That's the problem with these huge bet propaganda pieces. If you fail in your prognostications, the reader will disregard what you have to say in the future.
CIA would be wise to learn this once and for all, most of their popular public-interfacing pundits and talking heads have zero credibility left.
