The only hope for change is for the EU to force Apple to implement RCS. It should frankly be a requirement to get your phone certified onto any mobile network.

Have you tried sending the media as an iCloud link? That's what I do when I want Android users to view my videos at full quality.

Then get an Android. Or, wild thought, adapt. Use WhatsApp or Signal. Both are piss easy to navigate and it only takes a weekend with them to set it up.

No need to waste time trying to wait for something to happen that never will. RCS is Android and iMessage is Apple.

I doubt if any random Apple employee on HN can just make that happen ...
