Would be cool to see a few links to example README's, I had to open a new tab and find a readme to test.
I first though this was for repo readme files

Then I realised that it’s for the user profile readme

But trying to put my GitHub username into the tool gives a 404 message. Even though I already have a readme for my profile on GitHub.

I see that, and I'm not sure why, as I've check for the rawgit md on both main and master branches in the code, and your readme is in master, so it should work, but it doesn't
Unfortunately doesn't seem to support HTML tables:

The original profile:

I use Showdown.js and I've noticed this, i'm trying to fix it by using the github markdown converter api, but so far thats also not working
Turns out showdown requires strict tabling, seen in https://github.com/showdownjs/showdown/issues/666

so it is slightly gfm incompatible

Ah, makes sense. I didn't say this in my original comment, but this is a cool idea, and you might want to re-submit it (perhaps with a short write-up and example links) once you have the bugs ironed out!
On my phone it says "Cool Readm", with no opportunity to see the right hand side.
I've noticed this happening for very small sizes, fixing it
I've checked and made sure all fontsizes are rem, that should fix that except for extremely small screens
No improvement for me - Pixel 6a
Same here. iPhone 12 doesn't show texts properly
