Ask HN: iOS Apps, testing device migration

Hoping someone has seen something for this or can point me in the right direction. I am trying to find a way to test what happens to our app during a device to device migration (it loses things we don't expect), and I can't find any process anywhere to assist - nothing simulatable!

Any ideas without having to buy a bunch of phones? Greatly appreciate any feedback.
