It completely escapes me why the article's author obviously chose to avoid even mentioning the included default web browser Pale Moon, and even went so far as to remove its application icon from the the dock before making any screenshots...

No, it's a throwback to NeXT. (In a good way, but the article concentrates on the configuration and not on the interface.)
