It does seem like covid is exploding at the moment, so I'll be interested to see what the RTO companies do, if anything.

I think they're not going to change their tune until things get really bad again, which isn't a guarantee, so they might not do so. I suspect the only thing that may happen this winter is a few companies might grant a few more WFH exceptions, but keep the overall mandate in place.
