And two real files. One of which is the file that lets git actually populate all those directories. Worth noticing that file.

The actual repo has all the files. Hidden among the many directories is release.json that includes the tags that should be pulled into various directories I guess?

In my opinion, a better submission title would be: Open Source distributions for macOS 13.5 have been released.

The current title is a bit misleading, because several parts of macOS, including those covered partially by the OSS releases, are proprietary.

What’s with all these empty comments?

I understand that git submodules is not so well known, but doesn’t your curiosity kick in when you see Apple releasing a bunch of empty folders? Don’t you want to spend 1 minute to understand why?

Do you feel like spending that minute to write “just a bunch of empty folders” is such a good thing to do?
