Ask HN: Practice Pitches to VCs?

1 points by gearsyfounder ↗ HN
I'm exploring an idea right now called Pitch Practice VC[^1]. It's like Pramp[^2] but for practicing pitches to VCs.

You hop on call, spend 20 mins making your pitch. Then you get feedback. Then you listen to the other persons pitch for 20 mins. Then you offer feedback. Then you each privately say on a scale of 1-10 how eager you'd be to invest if you were a VC.

Any thoughts?

- Is this actually a pain point for founders? Having people to practice your pitch on. Are friends, family, and coworkers enough?

- Big enough where you'd pay?

- Or maybe VCs would pay to get access to the top N% of companies? Is that attractive to investors?
