They are the only ones left debating it. We, the people who live in reality, make observations, take measurements, and draw conclusions from it, know it is warming and have the data to prove it.

Only certain ideologues who are "only asking questions" in order to sow doubt and division question it now.

"Yeah but how far back do the the records go?" people stacked forever high; endless reactionary ism. What a terrible mess.
The candidates aren't worried about offending the young people in the audience, they are worried about offending the much larger older demographic that actually watches Fox News political debates on TV.

These candidates and positions are a symptom of a deeper problem: Republican voters largely don't believe climate change is real, or worth tackling.

Hence I get kinda peeved when people attack the politicians for taking these stances. We already voted all pro climate change Republicans out. The finalists might know climate change is a global security threat, but are just a reflection of their constituents.
