I remember those days. It was exhausting. Especially line after line of opaque DATA entries containing opaque numbers.

At least with BASIC instructions it was possible to make some sense of things.

My least favorite to do but most favorite to get done were the hex listings for the machine language games in Ahoy! There were a few that had a Basic element that were quite rewarding for the ass pain of getting them entered. I must have had 5 backups of all the typed in programs :)
