How does your company use Linux for workstations and laptops?

If your company uses Linux for a lot of desktop and laptop systems, what sort of architecture do you use? One particular distribution? Particular approaches to managing the systems and logs? Have any hints for someone setting up a new network (say a dozen computers and users)?

90% of developers use Linux in Odoo. 100% use company given laptops, generally Asuses or Thinkpads. No preferred distro, just mandatory disk encryption, rest is on Github. We do our sysadmin and cloud handling internally.
