Ask HN: Do Cookie Warnings Make It Annoying to Preview URLs Now?

Because before these things existed, I always used to hold the link down on mobile to do things like see what YouTube videos were linked or see if an article or page was relevant, yet now the giant modals make that a nigh impossibility.

Anyone else here find this a bit of a pain?
