Ask HN: How often are you affected by service provider outages?

I cannot remember the last working day where we didn’t experience an outage in one of the many, many services that the business relies on. Often these outages are minor, but they’re a constant nuisance, and make me want to start trending towards not relying on cloud services.

Today it was GitHub (delayed webhooks), CircleCI (broken Chrome testing orb) and OpenAI (login) outages.
