Best Authentication Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) for a Web-Serverless Stack?

Hello,

for a web app that I'm developing I would like to integrate a login using the usual auth methods (Google, Apple, Github, email). Which services can you recommend that allow for a fast integration. I was recommended clerk, but later noticed that it's quite expensive. Also I don't mind implementing my own form. Do you know any alternatives?

Super Tokens, Ory, FusionAuth and Google Cloud Identity (ex Firebase Auth) come to mind.

Each have its pros and cons.

Some are less mature (are a startup themselves), some aren't available in every region (if you have data locality requirements), some you can self-host or is open source, etc...

Decide based on what's important for you. There's never a 100% correct answer for every use case.

We have a generous free tier and we're more reasonably priced that tools like Auth0, but not as cheap as tools like Cognito + Firebase auth.
