Fed up with ai notetaking apps as a founder

Hey folks, I have been banging my head to find a good tool that just works for customer discovery calls. I am working on chat.collectivai.com where we help devs search and understand codebases and have been working with 1500+ OSS codebases.

I have a lot of video calls with potential customers to validate an idea. I am not able to find one good tool that gets me answer to all my template questions plus help in analysis on insights across conversations. Lot of tools either have poor transcription. Even the ones with good transcription does not help in any way gathering insights from across conversations in a ChatGPT like format.

How have you solved this? Please let me know if you know such a tool exists.

I will make it myself as a side project and opensource it if enough of you have faced this challenge. Please let me know.

What type of insights are you looking to gather over the conversations?

I am looking to get answer for a particular question like "how many developers face issue while searching for relevant code" or "what are the various scenarios where understanding code is a problem"

I want answers to these from across conversations

You will find out that your solution won't be better than the available ones, at least not in the beginning. What you described is the "curse" I've been seeing in many AI projects. They seem impressive at first sight but later UX is terrible, consistency is nil.

Yeah, totally. I do not want this to be a commercial project. I am looking if it has been solved. if not, I will solve for myself and RIP. Not making a "startup" on this one. One is enough :p
