Watch the video. He has filed an FBI report against the stalker, as well as having hired multiple specialists to help him out legally.
He should take that information to a judge then.
I posted this video because it's a telling illustration of the interaction between the DMCA, the Youtube's particular implementation of compliance with it, and the resulting ability of third parties to inflict significant harm to the content creators.
Wait so anyone on the planet can file for a dmca takedown of any youtube video without having to provide a real name but counter filing requires you to put your full legal name ?? How the fuck is this shit even legal ?
I checked the form, and you in fact have to add plenty of personal information to submit a takedown request. So in this case the submitter obviously didn't supply their real name. A youtuber on the other hand can't submit a false name on their counter filing (for the obvious reasons) and their personal information is sent to the takedown submitter automatically if I understood it correctly.
I've a good friend who has been delisted from Google Search several times recently based on multiple coordinated bogus DMCA claims as part of a coordinated harassment campaign. It's damaged his revenue streams.

Google should get their act together, but they dgaf. The outrage is directed at the troll, not at the people who built this broken and easily exploitable system.

I'd imagine when you have an online presence with a relatively large audience, some % of that audience is going to be crazy like this stalker guy

I really wouldn't be surprised if big youtubers keep private security on payroll for this reason
