Google Maps starts rolling out new UI design with fresh colors (androidpolice.com)

Google maps with their low-contrast washed-out colors are an absolute PITA to use. Not all the people using those maps have young eyes. Elderly people would prefer higher-contrast or more definitive colors that make maps more useful.
