It's very possible, because the two scenarios play out rather differently:
In a real infection, most spike proteins are assembled into very small viral particles which leave the cell to find new victims. (In the case of SARS-Cov-2, it's a continuous process, some other viruses swell up into one massive cell-explosion.)
If it's an mRNA vaccination, cells create spike proteins and hang them to their cell membranes in an orderly fashion. This makes it easy for your immune system to systematically gobble them up as large units and burn the spike proteins (and the rest of the untrustworthy cell) away. Also, it's a much smaller number of your cells, and most are in a pretty safely boring place like the muscle of your arm.
IANACellularBiologist, but while that vaccine doesn't use mRNA (it uses a crippled version of another virus) the goal is still to get some cells calmly exposing spike proteins on its outer membrane... so I'd still group it together in the "should be easier for your body to find and dispose of the spike proteins" category.
It was due to use of specific adenovirus shell. Some people have some weird antibodies that in some cases might cause clotting problems because of the interaction with adenovirus shell. Just a bad luck that has nothing to do with coronavirus spike proteins. So mRNA vaccines don't suffer from the same problem.
