> We show that discontinuance is related to dissatisfaction with the convenience of charging, having other vehicles in the household that are less efficient, not having level 2 (240-volt) charging at home, having fewer household vehicles and not being male.
Our next family vehicle will be fully electric. Our current vehicle is a hybrid mini-van, so we have everything we could possibly need as far as storage, range and convenience.
For our electric car I'm looking for something fundamentally new: extreme efficiency, small size / easy to park, surprisingly ample storage, something else I haven't thought of?
I suspect most people's dissatisfaction with their electric vehicle is because they bought something that's slightly cheaper to operate, generates less emissions, but is otherwise just a slightly worse version of an IC car.
