Ask HN: Best course(s) to fill education gaps?
Long story short, I am a self-thought developer and have made a good career for myself (12 years now), but I feel like I'm missing out on things I would have learned in college.
I'm almost 40 now, and I've thought about doing something like WGU or something to get a degree, but I really don't want to lose my nights since I enjoy spending time with my kids.
On top of the usual lack of deep knowledge about "Data Structures & Algorithms", I'm wanting to learn linear algebra and discrete mathematics.
Is anyone aware of any MOOCs or micro-degrees that would cover these topics? I want to get into some data analysis too with a side project, but I want to have a better foundation in math first before I go into that direction...
