Shared because seeing what he actually has to say about it is interesting.
sadly is behind a paywall and only the title can be read. But I was definitely looking forward to read the piece
I've posted an archive link in the comments now.

Elon Musk: "free speech absolutist"

Also Elon Musk: I disagree with my daughter's politics and gender expression so I must burn Twitter down to spite her.

other parents just ground their kids without phone for a week... this one will last longer
So Twitter/X users get grounded while his kid goes free, that's definitely a new approach to 'parenting' to me ;-)
He seems to give a different nonsensical reason for this about once a week. This particular one is perfect Telegraph-bait, of course.

(I genuinely wonder at this point whether the Twitter thing was _purely_ attention-seeking for its own sake; he seems determined to make as much noise as possible.)

He seems to give a different nonsensical reason for this about once a week.

It's the regressive "mind virus" that has infected him. Logic and reason are ignored in favor of dogma and delusions of grandeur --- his dogma alone can "save the country". Any discussion to the contrary must be suppressed for the sake of "free speech".

Obviously it has never occurred to Musk that perhaps he is the one infected with an illogical and contradictory "mind virus".

This could well explain why a self described "free speech absolutist" would seek to suppress discussions he doesn't agree with --- including gender identity and communism.

Musk is just another comical example of a staunch regressive struggling to force fit a multi-shaded world into his limited black and white/binary vision.

What about when his wife left him for a trans person and he decided his shitty personality was not to blame
> His solution was to buy it.

Didn't he spend almost a year trying everything he could to get out of being forced to buy it?

That's why incompetency and or psychological self-destructiveness is a more likely explanation for why Twitter has gone so badly.

Elon finally agreed to buy it and pay for it because litigation looked worse. It is likely he thought he could flip Twitter, if not for a profit, then at least at less cost than a settlement or a judgment against him.

This was a completely impulsive move. He was totally unprepared.

I think that's been memory-holed, now.
