Tell HN: Concord Music Publishing claims copyright on a 328 year old song
I run a live classical music show. We record performances and upload them to YouTube. Concord Music Publishing made a copyright claim on the melody of "If Music Be the Food of Love" by Henry Purcell against an upload we made.
The song was written before 1695.
How is this claim reasonable, and why does YouTube allow it?
