I'm not sure what to make of this. The Mexican government have released footage of 2 aliens that they have found in a mine. Carbon dating puts it a ~1000 years ago. They've done DNA analysis as well (and released the results).
I mean, there's lots of news articles that cover the basic points:
Jaime Maussan, a private self-proclaimed UFO expert who has committed previous UFO/alien hoaxes, including trying to pass of a body of a human child with deformities as an alien corpse, presented the corpse and various claims about it to the Mexican Congress.
Sure, but I would like the think that the Mexican Congress would realize this (and did due diligence) and vetted everything before doing this song-and-dance number.
There is a slide with companies/universities that did the work. I would like to also think that they would vet those findings as well.
However, agreed it sounds somewhat fishy. Maybe I have too much faith in due process of governments. :)
My understanding (perhaps in error) is that some private party has brought these to display before the Mexican Congress as part of their hearings on UFOs.
I read an allegation in an earlier story that the person who owns these and brought them to this show has been previously convicted of fraud involving faked mummies made from relatively fresh corpses of children. NFI on veracity of that either.
“Serial UFO fraudster at it again, this time before Mexican Congress” is a less impressive headline, but it seems to be what is happenibg here once you get past the clickbait.
The US government is actively pushing the whole alien narrative in the past few months for some reason.. looks like people didn’t really cared so “suddenly” the Mexican government has another alien discovery too.
