Show HN: Try GNU/Hurd in the Browser (gexp.no)

Hello HN!

I built a silly service for trying a real GNU/Hurd VM in the browser. It can only handle 2-300 concurrent users at the moment (no auto-scaling!), so I'm not posting a direct link.

(provisioning typically takes 40-60 seconds)

Building it took about a week and was a lot of fun so I wanted to share.

Interesting but it is way to slow from my end. It echoes about 1 char every 3 seconds to the console.

Where are you connecting from? The servers are located in central Europe (Hetzner).

From Indonesia I get "spikes", e.g. ~8 chars every second or so.

As an aside, I'm interested in suggestions for Hetzner-style hosting providers in Asia and Americas.
