Tim Gurner the management consultant...Walks into a corporate office for his first assignment...

Tim Gurner: "Okay, everyone gather around. I've looked at the numbers, and we need to let some people go to improve efficiency."

Employee 1: "So, who's getting fired?"

Tim Gurner: "Let's start with whoever's in charge of the coffee machine. It made me a latte when I asked for an espresso. Totally unacceptable."

Employee 2: "Um, that machine is self-service, sir."

Yeah, that's the standard "sorry, not sorry" sort of pseudoapology. He regrets nothing other than that more people can see what an unmitigated asshole he is and how it might have some adverse impact on his net worth.

This guy is flat out wrong and out of touch with reality on so many levels.

He has a history of these kinds of garbage views/comments. He’s sorry for the backlash, not sorry for his comments.

The take away should be for the working class to understand that the owner class is waging a perpetual war on them/us. Money and cultural assumptions are toolkits of social engineering. Workers realizing they have the power to mold society in their interests terrifies owners and we need to put the foot on the gas to move it forward in the direction of unions , democratization and worker owned production .

We actually need more openess from people like him, saying "like it is". It's going to do wonders for people's perception... eventually, I hope.
