[ 3.4 ms ] story [ 180 ms ] threadThe name change does seem to be quite a questionable policy decision though, not only because of the technical difficulties. It is like Coca Cola renaming itself to Flopsi.
Agreed.
Every major news outlet in my country refers to it as “X formerly known as twitter” frankly because the vast majority of people would have no idea what X is without that caveat.
It is exactly like renaming coke to flopsi!
“X hires 100 engineers” makes me think X is a typo or a variable of some sort.
