Cool idea! I got one wrong perhaps due to a misspelling- I thought I typed it in right; perhaps include a "close! It's spelled: Michael" if 1-2 letters different?

I was expecting a shorter time between seeing the same face again; after about five iterations I never saw a repeat face. Consider starting with a smaller set and only adding new faces to the mix once the user identifies 80% correctly.

To help myself memorize names of my students I made flashcards back in the day. Now I'd probably use Anki and keep it only on my work computer and then local-only.

Good ideas! I hadn't thought about the second one in particular.Thank you for your feedback. :)

Cool idea overall. Is this game based on any research? Wondering if this actually helps one get better at the skill of face-matching, instead of just memorizing these specific faces. FWIW I've used Anki for years with this exact name<>image combo for world leaders and haven't seen a corresponding improvement in my ability to do so with novel individuals in-the-wild.

Hehe, I have the genders classified automatically via ML.
