This is one hell of a (shameless) plug, I almost didn't notice it and I did sign up.

Linkbait aside, HN death rumors come in phases, and the real content is always still far more signal than noise. The anger a few months back re: TechCrunch-heaviness was more shark-jumping in accusation than anything I've noticed lately.
