I didn't realize Typescript had looked at/experimented with feeding type information to the JS engine to help with performance/memory layout. Neat! I've done some transformer work and love playing with that typing info
A lot of juicier things felt unsaid. Like, what did the SVP and others say to Microsoft's management when they asked "why open source?" if it won't translate into sales? It would be interesting to know how something so against the culture gets through and succeeds at a big org
