California, New York, and Texas are very large states with lots of businesses accounting for about 1/3 of the national economy, so (especially given that people often overestimate the share of the largest contributors when not actually doing the math) that it would seem like the majority.
Yeah, Yelp doesn’t like it when people pay third-parties to manipulate reviews, because their business model centers around extorting businesses to pay them to have their reviews manipulated, and if they aren’t the exclusive distortion vendor, their profits drop.
