Every tech job at Netflix has a salary range of 100k-900k-ish, to circumvent California (IIRC it was California) compensation law.
Their culture is very cut-throat, most ppl cannot survive
Yeah, it'd be just terrible if I got one of those jobs and lasted only 6 months.
Once you get above a certain threshold you start to prioritize you start realizing that your time is more important than money. That threshold is different for everyone, but I think 600k is well above that for most people.
I got as far as a phone screen. At the time I had years of experience doing everything in their job description and more for another company. They did not move forward. Not even a technical interview. I don't know who they hire or what they actually look for.
