Legitimate top traders would not need people to follow their trades. In fact, the best ones would advise you against it.

Trading is a redistribution of wealth from the bad traders to the good ones. You might make this idea work but it sounds shady. I don’t see how this has any value to legitimate traders. Let me know if I misunderstood though.

Your concern is valid. For top traders, the platform provides an additional revenue stream ($$$) through subscriptions from users who value their expertise.

At the same time, less experienced traders can access valuable insights, creating a win-win dynamic where "legitimate traders" are rewarded for their knowledge, and others gain insights/real time trades to enhance their trading skills.

The original description sounds like it’s about subscribing to buy/sell signals. Your response here still sounds like a more carefully worded version of that.

Reacting to real time trades easily leads to emotional decisions and that’s one of the biggest things traders struggle with. It just goes against everything I appreciate about trading so no I’m not interested.

It's a microblogging site to see what others are buying and selling, and to learn from their content, not just blindly copy each trade in real time trade. You don't have to "react" to any trades.

But I totally understand, not a problem ezero :)

What scale is this revenue? I find it hard to imagine that subscription revenue could hold a candle to the income already generated by "top" traders. Do you have traders already working with you that have expressed interest in being followed via this product?

I know of several traders in various online communities, outside of our platform, who are already successfully earning tens of thousands of dollars per month by promoting themselves on Discord and Telegram servers.

It's this demonstrated success and the enthusiastic interest from traders that inspired the creation of this platform. We have a growing waitlist of traders who are eager to leverage our platform as a secondary income source.

Now I'm even more confused. Promoting oneself on discord doesn't bring direct revenue. How is that turning into 10s of thousands a month?

Are you sure they are interested in your platform for its revenue, and not as a marketing tool?

What I meant to say was "they run their own signals servers on platforms like discords".

There is more interest from individuals without an audience on our waitlist than ones already with servers that are already making money.

Still confused. Running a signals server is revenue? Are people paying them for access to the tune of 10s of thousands a month? If not, this sounds sketchy again - smells like a mechanism for pump & dump schemes.

I totally get your disbelief, but it's a real thing! Experienced traders share their strategies and ideas online and many are making bank! Whether their trades are successful or not is a different question - that's why I'm creating my platform as a way to verify traders' performance before joining their paid community.

I pay $1500 a month for a discord room and it has 4500 people in the basic level. The top level is $10,000

This platform offers a unique opportunity for top traders to monetize their expertise directly through the platform. Unlike Public, where users primarily invest in stocks and ETFs, we enable traders to earn income by sharing their insights/trades.

Cool idea. I was looking for something where if I find a top trader and they use thinkorswim or IB and they say trade, I want to get in and out at the same time as them. Like synced through their API/account and that it would get in when they enter and exit when they exit.

Is that the goal here also?

There's already a platform that does this well, integrated with the huge trading community on Discord. It's called Trade Hub, they actually just released "v2.0" and named it NVSTly.
