Ask HN: Native Mac app vs. Cross platform

I'm mostly a Mac developer and making macOS products. I'm thinking about building my next product as cross platform with Qt6, but I can't stop thinking about the product ending up worse from a UX perspective compared to a native application. I really love using native apps as they usually integrate better.

What are your opinions both as Mac users or Windows users?
