I wish I could block high volume submitters here. I've begun looking at profiles, and seeing high karma posters regularly making the front page, HN is just as bad as Reddit, now.
Why do you think it matters if they are high volume submitters? Is the content not good? If it gets to the front page, it’s on the community and censor algorithms, not the submitter, in my opinion.
Imagine if Apple used some of that cash they held to find ways of manufacturing just as cheaply in the US or Europe as they did overseas. That would be a real game changer.
Why would they? Financially, on paper, their income isn't US based. And their production isn't US based either. The only US thing they have is "designed in California".
Decoupling from China, while boosting Indian growth seems is such a big deal.
India and the USA might not be geopolitical allies but the people sure as shit are - there's so many Desis here, that country loves us, and is a democracy. We absolutely should be pouring money there, into the country that's actively planning for a war against us.
