If you want to change the world, you can’t just decide like authoritarians how it must happen and then try to implement your plan without getting the people onboard with it.
Positive change, and that word is key, almost always comes from the people — from the bottom up.

It’s crazy that leaders want to move towards “a better world” by abandoning the democratic principles and open markets that have been the foundation of positive global transformation.
