Former President Donald Trump urged Republicans to force a government shutdown if they don’t get “everything” they’re asking for in the 2024 budget negotiations as lawmakers have just six days to come to an agreement before the existing spending plan expires.
This isn't HN-relevant. A government shutdown is an annoyance but (sadly) not such an unprecedented thing that we have to stop and contemplate the possible ramifications. Also, you don't need to add a comment with a summary of the article. It's not a good way to drive traffic to your clickbait site.
