I think you are referring to the twitch stream I did last week using ghostty [1], in which case I can confirm that the issue has been tracked down and fixed (as of yesterday). Even though the repo is still private, you can check out the very verbose commit message, complete with box diagrams and everything, because Mitchell posted it on Mastodon [2].
