One is in an ultra competitive industry, and one is in a less competitive space.
The competitive business we have been running for close to 4 years. We have worked incredibly hard to get this business off the ground. Fighting and clawing every single step of the way. I have invested so much of my blood, sweat and tears into this business. It has grown, but it has been very hard.
On the flip side, our business in the less competitive space has been significantly easier. In less than 12 months since launch, we are well above 7 figures in revenue, with only 1 FTE (I am almost completely hands-off). And will probably get to mid 7 figures in the next 2 years.
It has been incredibly eye-opening to see the differences between the two industries and shown me how market characteristics are what should dictate your decision when looking to pursue a certain industry.
