Judging only by the anecdata of my wife and her female friends' behavior, I doubt it.

Doesn't mean there isn't abhorrent harassment toward many women on social media, just that it isn't common for most women and will not "drive women away."

I can’t help but feel that it has to be a small but dedicated group of extremely entitled sociopathic men sending the majority of these messages. There needs to be more consequences for this kind of behavior.
