I don't need opportunities to demonstrate that I'm not a jerk, I just avoid behaving like one in the first place. The implicit premise of your argument is that the men who attended the conference had no other choice than to act as they did.

What exactly did they do? The article talks about people lining up to speak to recruiters, which hardly seems outrageous.

That should have been mentioned in the Wired article. I think those men could have been removed without violating federal employment law (though the event many not have had enough security to do that).

Is it really true that men are lying about their gender identity to get into a woman/non-binary focused conference so they can meet recruiters?
